Summary: This SCANNER, CANON, CANOSCAN LiDE 110 scans documents well, but is not that easy to use. I don't like the fact that it won't scan directly as an email attachment. You have to scan to a file and then get file to email as an attachment. Same if you want to scan document to Microsoft word.
Summary: You can not add or remove the page more than one. This means that you can scan only onle page at a time and can not add page like my HP Scanjet G2410. This is very disadvantage of this printer. Ohterwise everything is very good with this scanner.
Summary: good light compact and user friendly software not all that good and user friendly can plug and play with any devise without power using the usb cable only expensive, u can get cannon printer n scanner combo at this price, so why is scanned only being sold at this price ???
Summary: Had to replace my ide35 as they do not do software to run it on windows 7. This appears ok, but not as robust as earlier model and it took a few times to run the initial scan, as it kept stating it was still locked, when it definitely wasn't.
Summary: Pros.:Good scanner in this price. Has lots of features which are useful for day to day use. Scanning Quality is Standard (acceptable for this budget scanner). Cons: Some features like Copy does not work in Win7-64Bit & no support is provided either by Canon or from help websites.in this regard.
Summary: I bought this scanner because I decided it was time to shred several years' worth of collected papers I no longer had room for, and keep them instead as files on my PC. I went for this one as a low-cost option which had good reviews. On the whole I am very happy with the product.
Summary: I generally found scans quite clear and sharp, except for a problem with a few horizontal and vertical bands across the scanned area which appear blurred and out of focus. I ordered a replacement, and this exhibited the same fault, although not quite as bad.
