Summary: Warning! This scanner does not work with Windows 10. Canon claims their new drivers work, but after hours on the phone with Canon tech support, their employee finally admitted that he hadn't been able to get any Canoscan (110,120,220, etc.) with Windows 10....including mine.

Summary: Replaces my bulky scanner, scans quickly and easily - can scan to an email if your software is set up - http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/scanners/photo_scanners/canoscan_lide110 I have had mine for over a year without problems
Summary: This is for the budget-conscious (like me) and does exactly what I need it to do, which is to scan the occasional document. If you're looking for something fancier, I suggest spending a little more $$ on a more elaborate scanner.
Pros: Small footprint, lightweight, works as advertized.
Summary: For lots of photos, use a feeder ;) Remember to unlock the stupid scanner at the bottom....
Pros: I've been using this for scanning a few photos but mostly for scanning all the sheet music I've accumulated over the years. It works very well with Linux, since the SANE project supports this scanner. Naturally, the buttons won't work by default but that's fine as I use keyboard shortcuts anyway....
Summary: Cheapest scanner I could fine and it's pretty darn good. If you just want to scan bills and such for personal records digitized, then this is your go-to scanner.
Pros: Auto-scan does detect between images and documents reliably in the few times I've used it. Scans are crystal clear and sharp. No AC power brick - powered by USB.
Cons: Has a couple of attachments near both ends of the USB cable. I do not know whether these are filters or power capacitors or whatever else they could be, but I doubt it'll work with any other USB cable. - Untested so not docking any eggs for that.
Summary: I'd buy this thing again in a heartbeat & give it as a gift as well. It is very, very portable-you just slip it into your 17" backpack/laptop carrying case, no problem! Plug it in (w/Windows 8.1) and you are instantly in business.
Conclusion: I purchased my canoscan 110 with ease and without any problems and it was delivered in a fair amount of time, I like the ease of operation just by pushing the " Email button it imeadetly scanned the document and opened the email program and was sent without a problem.
Conclusion: I recently installed my new LiDE 110 scanner and found the manual to be most helpful. This scanner is easy to use and has more features than I knew of when I purchased it. Nice product, and great service when I needed it.
