Lightweight, affordable and user friendly. The whole package
2 weeks ago
Summary: Outstanding, especially for quick and easy use or professional work. Settings are easy to navigate, resolution user friendly for adjustment to various types of documents, books, and comes with magazine setting to capture multiple colors at precise levels, compatible with upload requirements on websites and online. The DPI feature allows easy uploads to sites with restrictions on pixel level. Lightweight and stylish, yet simple and effective.
Conclusion: OK, so it's not the LiDE110, it's the LiDE70! BUT I'll bet the speed and resolution has improved a bunch. I've been using the '70 for about 5 years and its portability suits my needs (fits in my backpack WITH my laptop and only one cable needed). Nothing broke, everything works, one-button scanning is great, software a bit quirky but works just fine. Once pointed to the directory of your choice it drops your scan right where you want it. Pretty awesome, if you ask me...
Pros: Compact Design, Fast Connectivity, High resolution, easy to use, price!
Summary: Not as easy to use as my old LIDE 30. I'm not an advanced computer wiz, but I figured it out after a while. It does work great, tho. If you're not computer smart, get someone who is and save yourself some time and sweat. Again, it IS a good scanner.
Summary: This is my second scanner from Canon. The first one still works, but I have a new computer with windows 8 and the scanner was not comparable. The LiDE 110 was the cheapest I could find for home use. Very easy to use and the scanned documents are of a very high quality.
Summary: I bought this just to replace an old scanner I've been using for years... But I was more than pleasantly surprised to find out how well it worked, and the quality of the scans. Also, the copy feature is excellent -- allowing you to copy direct to your printer.
Summary: Seems like a good little scanner - emphasis on "little" - small footprint w/o giving up on standard scanning area - unlike my old HP which is a big plus... Software is easy enough to use but be aware it only scans up to 600 DPI (would like to see more) but should accommodate most needs nicely. Scanning quality so far seems good. Would recommend!
Summary: While displaying a source error and having no new drivers available for it, my Canon Lide 70 scanner was not compatible with and so would no longer work with my new Windows 8.1, 64 bit laptop, so I am glad to have found this Lide 110. I needed a scanner for a reasonable price and this scanner does fine after using it just once thus far.
Energizer scanner - it keeps going and going and going.

Summary: We purchased this scanner specifically to copy my grandmother's diaries. It worked flawlessly with 10,000 scans in 2 weeks far outperforming every other scanner I've owned. Not much in the way of editing software, though.
