Fast Scanner

  • Summary: Good price & seems like it has many features. One touch buttons don't have the settings that I would use every day, but they are programmable.
  • Pros: Scanning speed & good basic scanning modes
  • Cons: Does not co-exist with my smart phone.

  • Summary: This is about my 10th scanner so don't think I'm unfamiliar with the product type. GOOD This is a very small and light scanner and is powered by the USB port - no "wall wart" needed. BAD Can NOT get it to scan anything without it imposing a moire pattern on the scanned item. Have tried all of the Canon recommended fixes and some others I found on the 'net - nothing fixed it.

  • Summary: It is a bottom of the line scanner, $20 cheaper than the one I bought 10 years ago, and much more complex.

  • Summary: I really like this scanner. I had a similar model years ago but Cannon didn't make drivers for Windows 7, so I had to let it go. This model is the updated version of what I had, and I like it a lot. It's compact enough that I can slide it between books in my book shelf when I am not using it, and it just take seconds to plug in and start scanning. True, it is a tad slow, but I am not in a hurry. I use it for OCR when I want to edit a long typed document.

  • Summary: We were looking for a scanner to use in our store to save images of GATE cards and make copies of Driver's Licenses. This scanner is just what we were looking for with its simple, intuitive, one-touch operation and clear images. Just hook it up to your computer, and you can save to the hard drive or print straight to your printer. Be sure to follow the instructions and insert the disk before connecting the scanner.
