Summary: This thing was ok, if a little unreliable, for the past two years since I bought it. One problem it had over and over again, though, was that the power cord and usb cable kept falling out of the back, making me crazy because I knew I had just plugged them in the week before.
Summary: It was tough for me to decide on how many stars to give this. I bought this scanner to scan my slides, 35mm film, photos, but especially the many rolls of 110 film that I shot back in the '70s/'80s with my old Vivitar camera. It scans everything BUT the 110 film great.
DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK if you have an Apple computer.

Summary: The Omnipage software that comes with this DOES NOT WORK with an Apple PC and on their website and on the box they ship you it says it does. We had to return this item since it did not work on Apple computers and we thought the vendor was extremely deceptive and offered the worst customer support...
Summary: Before I purchased this scanner I contacted Canon to ask if it was compatible with Windows 7. They said it was. When I unpacked it I was pleased to see that the software they enclosed and advised using in their Quick Start Guide was Arc Soft . I had used Arcsoft before and it was easy to use.
