Great for Slides

larry5467, Ebay
23 October 2009
  • Summary: Wanted this to scan about 500 slides for my aunt - and any others our family has hidden away. It does a great job if not somewhat slowly. You can load up to 4 slides per scan session (each slide is scanned individually within the session). At 300 dpi the four slides took about 8 minutes.

CanoScan 4400

tonyl11212iaw, Ebay
17 February 2009
  • Summary: Like the ease of installation on computer and ability to use in under 10 minutes after unpacking. Can't figure out how to darken light images which is maddening. I'm sure there is a way but haven't found it yet. Bought the scanner due to the price point and quality manufacturer.

  • Summary: Works just fine, does what the buyer says it would. I really like it, I wish you could do more than one slide at a time ( only four )but it works and that is why I ordered it.

Scanned thousands of photos pretty easily!

Marley "marley226", Amazon
18 November 2008
  • Summary: I bought this scanner to scan all of my pre-digital photos. First it is REALLY easy to use. The quality is great. I did have some trouble with what looked like pixels on the scans but that was just in the scanner software. The scans in every other application were perfect.

great scanner

Kyda Whitehead, Amazon
11 December 2007
  • Summary: this is a great scanner! I love the fact that you can put in 4 pictures at once and it'll break it up into 4 seperate files! The fact that it does negatives too is a real plus, but it's definitly time consuming to put the negatives in and it takes about a minute per negative, but it's still a great...
