Summary: I like the Brother DS-720D, easy to set up, easy to figure out but it doesn't do multiple pages in one scan, which is a little disappointing as my other portable did that and I use the feature on just about every scan so its a annoying to have to co-late the pages after every group of documents.

Summary: I had a big job of scanning almost 2000 index cards, sized 4"x6"...and some had info on both sides....this little scanner does the job, and fast, and the output is perfect for creating a filing system on my PC hard-drive.
Summary: If you are looking for an inexpensive, compact scanner, I highly recommend this one. It is very easy to use, operates quietly and fairly quickly. The software it comes with leaves a little to be desired, but the ability to scan multiple pages into a PDF format is exactly what I was looking for
Summary: I purchased this scanner 1 year and 3 months ago based on reviews and purchase price. When I went to use it today my PC would not recognize the scanner since the USB connector in the side of the scanner had broken loose from the board inside.
Summary: The duplex scanning is key for me. Hand feeding is slower than an automatic stack-feeder, but also much cheaper. And hand feeding is much safer for paper that is old, wrinkled, folded, perhaps a little fragile. This is great.
Summary: A fast little scanner, with lots of features. I have an excellent photo scanner, but used this to scan hundreds of photos, because it did it so well & so fast. I will eventually go back and rescan special photos & some editing is needed on many of the photos, but it does a good job.
