Summary: I believe the airlines dropped my checked bag from the top of the plane and actually broke the scanner which was inside. Ordering another. Can't work without it!
Pros: Very portable, easy to travel with, scans pages pretty quickly. Works very well with small receipts and thicker items. Have used this scanner for almost 2 years. Travel often and do audit work so no need to transport cumbersome and/or confidential documents.
Cons: quit working. "on" button got stuck in the down position. dome contour of button hung up on underside of case top causing it to try to feed paper continuously. i powered it off and took out the 4 screws and released the button and smoothed it's edge so it would release after pushing. a week later...

Summary: We now have four of the TravelScan Pro Document and ID Scanners in our office. They our great, they use very little space on our desks and the quality of the scans be it a document or ID Card is outstanding. I would recommend this product to any one.
