Summary: I bought the stihl 192t because the saw is small enough to be used aloft in a tree climbing or in the bucket truck. I like the power that the saw has and the weight of the saw. This saw want tire you out as bad as a husky or a echo. The huskys have trouble starting and are heavy after an hour, the echo is too heavy after a hour or so. I would recommend the husky trim saws and the echo trim saws for bucket use only.
Summary: Designed to help tree services cut pruning and equipment costs down to size, the MS 192 T C-E is one of the most popular professional chain saws on the market. Value priced, this lightweight balanced chain saw is now fitted with our Easy2Start™ system for easy starts in tough “in tree” situations.
Summary: Very good saw. Lightweight and good for one handed use. Very nice limb saw.It will cut thru big stuff also but does not have the weight for continued use on bigger limbs.I use it also for off road use in my Jeeps to clear paths and to cut myself out of a jamb if i get pinned against a tree. Very little to pack away in the jeep or on the racks of a ATV.I do not have any dislikes about this saw.
Summary: I bought the MS192 for professional tree trimming, and limb removal while climbing. The lightweight balanced design makes it a great saw for climbing. Although the power is adequate, it does leave me wanting more. If i could buy the MS200T for the same price as the MS192T I would. The first time out, the oil cap broke when I twisted too hard to remove it. It was then I noticed that both the fuel and oil caps are over-enginered, fragile and costly to replace.
Summary: Love the power to weight ratio. Easy to handle while perched on a ladder or just trimming lower branches over my head. Weight is not exhausting for overhead or arm extended work. Wish I had bought one earlier.
Summary: Needed light weight, strong running, easy to handle saw for one hand operation in tight quarters. This saw fits the bill. My main concern with Stihl is, like most other saw makers, they require too many different size chains and bars. I would suggest making a good bar and chain of each size and put them on all the different models. Overall this is a powerful, lightweight saw that is easy to handle with one hand.
