Summary: This saw is really nice to use. It has a laser that is dead on. I like how I can turn the laser on or off even when I don't have the saw running. I did put a new Skil crosscut blade on it. Good weight, great value.
Summary: I've used it once, on an approximately 2.5" thick concrete slab with an inexpensive Skil diamond blade. I made 2 cuts about 3' each and it did the job no problem, a big job for me in what it actually achieved. I was gonna rent a Makita 14" concrete saw but the price was more than buying this brand new with blade. I used the laser and aimed it at a ruler marker laid on the slab and the cut was quite straight I must say.
Poor Factory Inspection and Quality Control. I expected better.

Summary: I must have got one that missed out on quality control. The "deck" (the part the touches the wood) is crooked (that's pretty obvious). But maybe it's the whole unit. The laser is off by more than a half inch, which makes it a useless distraction. The cord was also nicked. You cannot use the guide to be accurate with your cut. Something is seriously crooked on this saw. You have to look at the spinning blade to have any idea of where it is going to go.
Summary: I did not know that a reconditioned product could be so good. I could not tell that it had ever been used before. Not a scratch on it at all. The case is an added plus. I will be purchasing more reconditioned products in the future.
Summary: I'm 51 years old, and I've never owned a circular saw. I bought this saw primarily because of the price and the brand name. I didn't have much else to rely upon. I'm still haven't mastered all the various options for this saw, but I will say it is surprisingly easy to use. The laser is particularly useful. I paid about $30 for this saw, and I'm satisfied.
