Summary: Oh yeah! This saw is sweeeeet. The fit and finish is real nice and you can cut 16" shelving! I saw where some people didn't like the fact that the right fence didn't slide over like the left fence. Let me tell you a little secret I found out.
Great saw, will give you quality and lengthy service.

Summary: I've now owned this saw exactly six years to the day, and it is still going strong. Have had zero problems with it. I am not a professional contractor so my saw does not get used regularly, but I have used it for dozens and dozens of projects and am extremely happy with it. It is very heavy though.
Summary: Big, very heavy, but very accurate. Does it all if you intend to keep the saw in one place. After much research into other brands and models, this won out for me. Tough to find in stores I think due to the size and weight. Great for home woodworkers!
Summary: Top quality saw. It's not retailed at $1260. That's redicilous but it is an excellent tool, we'll worth 650. I've made my living doing woodwork for 35 years, I've been using the Milwaukee 12" slide saw for several years and it's still doing as good a job as ever!!
Summary: Have had this for 4 + years. I do high end finish carpentry and with the Freud LU91R012 12-Inch 72 Tooth ATB Thin Kerf Sliding Miter Saw Blade it works great. I've had many fellow carpenters make positive comments after borrowing it.
Summary: This machine is the best of the six miters saws I have owned. It works smoothly, it is easy to adjust, the micro adjustments are so easy to achieve. The light is new to me and is a nice feature. I highly recommend this saw.
Summary: Not a bad saw overall. Slides smoother than anything out there, whether bevel or not. The digital readout is a bit of a gimmick. Works good when new but will develop an error over time, so I don't rely on it anymore. The lights are a good feature.
