  • Summary: This has been a great saw. As far as the 'quality' of the stock blade, I think most will buy expensive blades for Any of the saws out there. I use the stock blade for general construction. It is heavy, but that's what keeps it so solid.
  • Pros: Build quality, capability
  • Cons: length of cut

  • Summary: great saw. I've had the same saw in ten inch for a lot of years. It never had any problems. I expect this to do the same, with a hight quality blade.. only use on hard woods.
  • Pros: ease of operation
  • Cons: not a top quality blade

  • Summary: I've owned over ten compound mitre saws. This round I was looking for a saw that clicked all the degree stops without wavering. This saw does click well at all stops. It also has a digital readout that will tell you where the saw is set. So far, after a couple of months of duty, it still is working fine. I also like the lights on both under sides of the saw. For guys with tiring eyes, this is a great feature.
  • Pros: Nice clicking for all degreee stops
  • Cons: not a light weight saw

  • Summary: I bought this saw as a replacement for an old (20+ years) Sears 10" radial arm saw that had seen considerable use and was rebuilt a couple of times. I have the new Milwaukee mounted on a Ridgid stand and have had absolutely no problems with the saw or stand. The angle calibrations are right on the mark, I have made test cuts and checked them with a Starrett machinist's protractor. The detents are spot on for both the angle and miter.

  • Summary: Where to start on how much this saw sucks. The big thing is right out of the box my angle read out is off. Works sometimes and others times not. I have to slide it around from one side to the other and back often many times for it to settle in to something that seems consistent with the manual indicators. I am told this can be fixed with calibration. The right fence does not slide. The lights are weak to the point I ask why bother. The cord is short.

Fantastic Saw for Fine work & Framing

  • Summary: I have had this saw for about 18 months and it performs flawlessly. I use it for everything from fine furniture making to trim to framing and decking. It has tones of power and is dead accurate. It is a beast though - large & heavy! I have the matching portable stand which is very good but you dont want to move this thing around much.

Milwaukee 6955-20 12-Inch Sliding Dual Bevel Miter Saw with Digital Miter Angle Fine Adjust

  • Summary: Great saw. I put this saw on a Ridgid portable, folding miter saw stand and have one of the nicest set ups possible. The saw lives up to it's claims. I have no complaints but I have only used it for an hour or so.
