Excellent Circular Saw

Larry, Amazon
13 August 2014
  • Summary: This Milwaukee saw is everything I could have hoped for in a circular saw. It is very easy to use and is very durable. I like the adjustable handle and the electric blade brake stops the blade from spinning when the trigger is released. One thing that I do like is the quick detach cord that is easily replaced. Not all Milwaukee products carry this feature these days.

JUNK SAW!

Don Boldt, Amazon
20 June 2014
  • Summary: Carpenter for 35 years and have owned several circular saws. The brake occasionally works, the shoe is not parallel to the blade and the tilt lock, while good in theory, is in practice never used. That last complaint is not really valid but I never think or need to change the handle angle. I have a 25 plus year old Super Saw Cat that to this day slams to a stop the moment the trigger is released.

Great performatnce

Pheedback "cobs0861", Amazon

  • Summary: This is a great Circular Saw with an electronic brake. Plenty of power and a smooth cut. My dad has the same one but his is made in America. I think Milwaukee made a mistake by shifting production to China. The workmanship is still excellent but how can you call it "Milwaukee" when it is made in another country altogether?

Typical Milwaukee Excellence

Bart Strafdab, Amazon
30 May 2013
  • Summary: My 25-year old Black and Decker circular saw finally bit the dust (yea). Every time I use this saw I'm amazed how smooth and powerful it is. A few days ago I was cutting up some water logged 2X12's and could barely feel any resistance as I made the cuts (I use a Diablo blade). I have several Milwaukee power tools and only had to go through their customer service a few times. Each time I had to deal with them it was a good experience.

Expensive...but worth every dollar

Robnee, Amazon
20 February 2013
  • Summary: Arrived on time and as advertised. It came with a rigid plastic storage case. I have used it for many hours in the past year on wood, concrete and ceramic tile. It gets the job done. It is the best circular saw I have ever owned. I am no longer concerned about the premium I paid. It was worth every dollar.

  • Summary: Great saw, cuts cleanly, good adjustments, plenty of power, alignment easy to maintain but sawdust expulsion absolutely covers you up and not just if you are left handed.
