Summary: I had the same saw but in the older, V18 system. When my last V18 battery and charger gave up the ghost, I had to purchase this newer version. It is well made and works as advertised. I only wish it was a little bigger -- like 7 1/2 inches.
Summary: I already had three 18-volt Milwaukee Fuel batteries that came with a great drill I bought, so this was a natural choice for me. The large, well-made shoe plate is great. The light weight materials make it easy to handle. With plenty of power I ripped a long cut through 5/8" white oak with no problem, and cross-cutting a bunch of cherry was a breeze.
Summary: Milwaukee is the best brand in my opinion for all power tools, they stand behind their products I have not had any problems with all the Milwaukee tools I own except for damage from dropping them but they handle repairs very well I will only purchase Milwaukee tools.
Summary: Where did they get this thing? Even on the little m18 battery this saw just goes and goes. It's not quite as powerful as a 110v, but it's darn close, and it's cordless and light (comparatively). This is my new go-to saw. Don't waste your time with any of the others - this is the one to get.
