Perfect

J. Ling, Amazon
4 August 2014
  • Summary: This tool is exactly what I need it for. I use it for so many projects, the versatility alone is worth the price. The size, weight, and power are awesome. Well crafted and designed I use a wood blade to cut fire wood for my BBQ. Just got a grout scraping blade. I'm sure it will perform to my expectation. I use all Milwaukee tools and have no complaints at all.

Too fragile, and battery is sub-standard

Dan Payne "Gadget lover", Amazon
14 March 2014
  • Summary: Great tool for my line of work, but I had to take it in twice in the first year for repairs. If it gets just a couple drops of water on it, it stops working. Also, the battery discharges way too fast. Even with the XP battery, I only get a few cuts before I have to recharge.

Very convenient and well balanced

  • Summary: I bought this tool to climb up into my trees and cut branches one-handed. It has been great for that purpose. The only downside it that it chews up batteries pretty quickly.

Watch Out Trees

Byl, Amazon
17 February 2014
  • Summary: We live on a one acre landscaping plant farm, and this tool has helped to make life easier when controlling all the tropical weeds, vines and trees that grow all too well around the perimeter of our property. This tool is light and full of power cutting strength!

Yeehaw!

kunzenheimer, Amazon

  • Summary: This thing is so nice if you have only used a big corded sawzall. It's not super fast or powerful, but can cut big common nails and old Doug fir 2x stock and it flies through ABS pipe. Love it.

Powerful, a must for orchards and cutting small firewood and rough carpentry and pvc pipe

johnp, Amazon
4 November 2013
  • Summary: I thought this was a luxury I was allowing myself after my two hand sawzall. After getting it I decided it is a must have for tree trimming, cutting smaller firewood quickly, and quick rough carpentry cutouts. The amount of power you get is hard to describe. Its comparable to using the corded tools. I even find myself using this for rough cut carpentry and trimming. Cuts metal and pvc pipe well with the right blade.I regret waiting so long to buy this tool.

Love it

Jeff, Amazon

  • Summary: It has a slightly shorter throw than it's big brother but that doesn't seem to matter. It's a one handed wonder. It's light and gets into tight spots where others won't. It does go through the smaller 18 volt batteries fairly quickly so for big jobs either use the large battery or have another charged small one on hand. Balance is perfect and blade change is quick. Also takes up less space in my tool bags than a big one. Glad I bought it.

This is awesome

Matthew Denton, Amazon
17 February 2013
  • Summary: This works as advertised. It is a suitable replacement for a full size sawzall, providing you are not doing professional work. It is best when you are doing something ne handed, like using a metal blade to cut a copper pipe, or a wood blade and cutting the base off a Christmas tree. Anyone who has ever tried to use a full size sawzall knows doing it one handed is difficult, and at the least stupid.
