Summary: This is the first expensive battery tool I have owned. It is truly amazing. YOu can see where the battery is at. It gives a final push then it is out of a charge. I use it for making firewood out of downed trees. If they are smaller limbs it is wonderful. The bigger a limb the more challenge it is. I love my sawzall!
Summary: Overall I love the product, BUT I do have some complaints: First it was shipped in a box from a combo kit with a drill. Not a big deal, except it confused me and I thought maybe I had gotten a drill for free but it looks like they bought the combo kit, opened it, removed the drill and the sawzall blade it says it shipped with and closed it up and mailed it to me. Second, it says "case", it is NOT a case, it is a "contractors bag". I'm actually mostly peeved at this.
Excerpt: Since August of 2009, this Sawsall has made so many cuts that I would not have been surprised to have had trouble with it but it still runs and cuts like a new saw. I've owned a 13 amp corded model for a longer period but it never gets out of it's case because this 18 volt HC battery is so great and charges so fast that the cordless saw gets all the action!
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast Cutting Speed, Good Design, Great Blade, Long Run Time, Powerful, Safe, Super Durable Saw, Use Everywhere
Excerpt: After a good marketplace review, my search ended with this Milwaukee M18 Lithium-Ion sawzall with two batteries. Great features plus M18 Lithium-Ion power means freedom from electrical outlets and extension cords. At 7.9 lbs, with battery installed, it is a little heavier than Milwaukee’s lightest corded units (7 lbs, plus cord). However, I like being able to grab the unit and execute the work without having to string out and deal with extension cords.
