Summary: Nice light-weight saw. Battery life is very limited but that's a weight tradeoff. Don't expect sawzall performance. Considering the price difference between this and a sawzall, this saw is exceedingly expensive.
Summary: I use this tool to cut 1 1/2" and 2" PVC pipe in very tight areas and it works like a champ. I love the feel and balance of this tool and it makes problematic cuts easy. Battery life is excellent and the recharge time is really fast, maybe 10-15 minutes so far. Can't say enough about this tool.
Summary: Garbage! I'm a big fan of tools that have a lot of longevity and this tool was not it! And the first one died right away! However the Makita I've bought has been extremely reliable!! Along with all there other tools that I've bought!

Summary: I use this tool for general remodeling chores, especially handy in confined spaces, and I also use it to trim tree branches. The 12v battery provides enough power for me, while keeping the tool light and portable.
