JDP, Amazon
9 October 2014
  • Summary: Pros: light weight, powerful, great for most home owner related jobs Cons: Not great if you have a lot of cutting to do on a large project - be sure to have a spare battery handy After purchasing this tool I hardly ever use my corded circular saw anymore.

great lightweight one-hand saw

Amazon
19 August 2014
  • Summary: This is a nice little saw. I'm left-handed so it fits me very well. Although the manual says use both hands, it works as a one-hand saw, which is very convenient. Great for cutting plywood etc. I also use it for 2" lumber extensively. Blade selection is very limited, however you can find some third-party blades here on Amazon. The thing you'll probably want is dust extraction nozzle and it's not easy to find!!

So covenient it has become my go-to saw.

RSL1, Amazon
15 July 2014
  • Summary: Smooth operating and cuts fast. I love this little saw. Don't let the small size fool you, this saw will cause you to leave your big saw in the truck. This saw has an LED light that comes on in the first trigger position. The blade guard has not caused me any problems yet. I remove the battery when storing this saw for safety reasons. The blade that comes on it is a super thin kerf which helps the saw's cutting speed and battery life.

great saw

Amazon
23 March 2014
  • Summary: We use extensively. cuts 45° bevels perfect. Yes, it is a 5/8 arbor and most blades are 10 mm. I buy Frued and mi material blades from Amazon that work. I have also drilled arbor to fit. I don't use it to 45 on 2x4's Im very happy with the precision at wich it cuts plywood and mdf mitred corners. If your working with wide pcs. Of wood that are cupped this saw is a must.

  • Summary: In the last Month I have decided to invest in all new cordless tools (I had craftsman for 12 years now) I first bought the white Makita dual drill and compact drill and loved it so I decided to increase my inventory. I took advantage of the Amazon Prime and purchased 13 different cordless products that I have been wanting. They are light but yet built with quality I can't wait to start using all my new tools! Buy Makita you will not go wrong!

Anthony Giralamo "antalamo", Amazon
6 November 2013
  • Summary: What great powerful little saw. I bought this saw when I was tired of plugging in my circular to cut just a few pieces or need a quick cut. This saw is quick, easy and convenient if you need a fast cut. Used it often on 2x4s without any trouble or kick back. I recommend this saw. Battery stays strong.

Light, powerful, dead accurate!

Amazon
1 September 2013
  • Summary: Excellent design, light weight, powerful, quiet, easy one-hand balance, and accurate! Easier to use than any other saw I've tried. At my age (75) I can't lift much any more, and I'm building a large house, alone. So not having to use a heavy corded saw is a great advantage. (It's also quiet enough that I can listen to "Rush", or to the Saturday Met Opera, without the rattle and scream of a geared cheap saw.
