Summary: I'm old school, I still have many power tools 20+ years old because they were built better. After checking out every 10" miter saw out there I bought the Hitachi for its effective features and power. At this price most saws are home owner quality, the Hitachi a step up. It's light, has a well balanced carry handle and the table moves nicely without slop.
Summary: Have used the saw numerous times now and have been building a lot of items I had to have cut elsewhere but now I can do it at home. Next project will be a table to mount the saw on with wheels so I can move it wherever I need to for space and to ease the job. Thanks for the fine saw and it is easy and wonderful to use. Great Price, Great Features and Easy to use on all kinds of cuts.
Summary: I got this miter saw as a fathers day gift from my wife and kids and realize I should have gotten one years ago. Sure having a radial arm saw would be even better. This saw though I got from Lowe's on fathers day sale for a hundred buck. Well worth the money. Works great. Already made more than a dozen pieces of outdoor furniture from treated two bys, some corn hole boards, a play in fire truck/toybox, nail.polish shelves for the wife, spice rack, shelves, folding...
Highly recommend this saw for any one doing mobile work.

Summary: I bought this saw to replace a Ryobi that I was very unsatisfied with. I changed the blade to a 40 tooth carbide immediately, and have loved the saw. Lot's of power. Light weight for mobility. Good desing features. Would recommend for any D.I.Y. person or someone doing some side work. I have cut trim to 2*6's.
Summary: This product was a great buy for the price. We bought this saw when we were building our deck and it worked great! You just can't beat a great product at a great price! Buy it, you will not be dissappointed!
A great value for an all-around homeowner miter saw.

Summary: The C10FCE2 10" Compound Miter Saw cuts accurately, is easy to use and is a great value. Throw in Hitachi's reputation for quality and it's an ideal saw for the homeowner. Relative light weight and good carrying handle placement make it easy to move. Lack of a laser cutting guide is the only drawback. (Only had the saw for a month so cannot comment on durability.
Summary: I bought this saw at Lowe's for under 100 dollars, to have to make clean square cuts. It performed well. The saw is well built and operates easily. The only con I would say about the saw is the dust bag dose not collect the saw dust well, you will be sweeping up saw dust.
