Summary: Hands down the best decision I've made to advance my woodworking career. Used to be a die-hard Dewalt fan, still am, but after I burned through my third miter saw I wanted to try something else. Its expensive, yes, but it also has a lot of features and the quality is unparalleled.
Summary: This kapex mitre box is by far best on market, i've had them all.....only concern is festool did not Design slide angle with a fine adjustment knob, it gets awkward when ur trying to dial in 1/2 degree.
Summary: What can I say, if your willing to pay the price it better be the best saw out there. Well it is. Had it for a few weeks and already forgot about the price. It makes me work more efficiently and therefore makes me more money. The best saw out there if you want to pay the money.
Summary: I have had a few miter saws in my day, but this is by far the best I have ever used. It was dead on right out of the box, no adjustments required. The only downside is that the dust collection is not as fantastic as people make out, it is a lot better than on any of my previous saws.
Now after the Bosch thing I went and took a good look at the festoon another german made product
18 March 2015
Summary: Well I bought a Bosch with the axial thing arm. And now must take it back because the thing is not square. I could not find one system on the saw that was square. The big problem is the fence they are not 90 degrees to the table neither side and no way to fix this short of some metal machining.
