  • Summary: First saw I received did not function at all, trigger lock seemed to be jammed. Could not power on or plunge the saw. New replacement works, but has bearing growl. Going to have the local service center check it out rather than returning a second time. So far quality seems to be lacking.
  • Pros: good service from Toolup
  • Cons: quality issues

  • Summary: Excellent saw for cutting bottoms on solid 1 3/4" doors,do not have to score the door before cutting, saw blade will not wander even in laminated hardwood. I saved enough in labor to buy 5 saws in one job alone.
  • Pros: Can cut doors without scoring
  • Cons: Availability, price, does not include clamps

  • Summary: Ready to go within minutes out of the box after adjusting for trackplay and trimming off excess edge guide. Track held in most of my application without clamps. I can see use of clamps where the surface is less than flat.
  • Pros: Depth gauge in inches and easy to set; Plunge mechanism very smmoth
  • Cons: None

  • Summary: Really useful tool, especially as a job-site replacement for a contractor table saw. Having cut panels on a contractor style table saw, I can promise that he track saw is much faster and easier to use, makes much cleaner cuts and only requires one person to do the cut.
  • Pros: Cuts perfectly straight panels
  • Cons: Kit should include the DeWalt track clamps. It's pretty useless without them and no other clamps will work.

  • Summary: After looking at these for a few years I took the plunge and now I wonder how we made it without it for all these years. We purchased it for breaking down sheet goods, but found it is perfect for cutting rough lumber square on one edge before it goes to the tablesaw.
  • Pros: Well Designed, Well Made
  • Cons: None

  • Conclusion: Good First Impression
  • Pros: Quality, available storage, many retention sleeves/loops in pocket, velco keeps pouches from sliding on belt.
  • Cons: short belt if you are a bigger guy, not enough variation in belt loop placement on padding.

  • Summary: This saw is fantastic. I bought it to build a built-in cabinet/bookcase out of mdf & it made the job a lot easier. I am an advanced amateur with some commercial background when I was in my 20's. I have used all sorts of commercial & home made straight edges over the years & this is far better.
  • Pros: Fantastic cut quality
  • Cons: Expensive

  • Summary: works well and cuts awsome
  • Pros: cuts very accurately, sets on the tracks well
  • Cons: the tracks could be about a foot longer so you can start the saw entirely on the track instead of halfway
