Summary: I have been using this saw for about 7 months. Adjustments are very easy. It is fairly light weight so the saw and its fold-up stand (sold separately) are easily moveable in my garage/shop. Plenty of power for cutting hardwood. Blade replacement and guard removal are simple. Clean up is quick and easy. Importantly, printed instructions are complete and easy to follow. The saw hold its compound settings well.
Pros: Rack-and-pinion fence adjustment. Hard surfaced aluminum work surface. Overall quality.
Summary: If you are like me and are more than a fumbling do it yourselfer, but not a professional cabinet maker, this table saw is the best you can buy without spending the big bucks. Its tough, powerful and solid. You can buy cheaper saws that are good, but if you plan on using it for everything under the sun and want to keep it forever, this is the one for you. If you have the need to move up in the future, I'll bet this machine will have a better re-sale value too.
Pros: Larger table would always be nice, Difficult to change blade ( very little knuckle room )
Cons: Larger table would always be nice, Difficult to change blade ( very little knuckle room )
Summary: I like the saw foer several reasons. It has power, easy to fit accessories such a dado blade and it can be integrated in or on a rolling cabinet or made to sit on a workmate. The fence is reasonably accurate and i like it's telesopic adjustments up to 24 inches.Pricey but the best product in it's category.
