Summary: The lack of cords cannot be understated. This saw will run out of juice somewhat quickly, I was cutting up old 3/4 plywood. cut about 8-10 4ft lengths before the battery would die But that doesn't even matter, I can get soo much more done with this cordless saw just out of sheer utility, no more dreading wrangling up wet or dirty extension cords, no more fighting to wrap up the saws own cords, no more bull outside of battery changes. And that I can totally live with.
Summary: Very good at doing what it's designed to do. Plenty strong, one battery adequate for most jobs and having an extra battery means I can replace the battery with a freshly charged one and keep going. I needed this for outdoor work that was too far away to run an extension cord for my corded reciprocating saw.
Summary: The usual great tool from DeWalt. Next to my drill, I use this tool the most. Cutting small limbs, cutting conduit, plastic PVC Pipe, etc. The blades are easy to change out, no tools required.
Perfect addition to any Dewalt drill owners toolbag

Summary: This is a spectacular tool for tree trimming, as well as any small chore you don't need/want to brake out the circular saw for. It's the perfect addition to any homeowner who already owns a dewalt drill with batteries and charger.. Note: This tool will accept both the older style and new style batteries., the box shows the logo for the new style batteries, but the 'instruction sheet' states both battery types will work.
Summary: Dewalt makes great products and this is one of the handiest tools I have. The 4 way blade position chuck means I don't have to get in awkward positions to make my cuts. The tool is powerful and seems to run a good amount of time on the battery. A great addition to my cordless tool set.
Summary: I love this saw! I bought it because I was tearing down a 30' long and 20' tall wall in my garage. It is drywall and this saw ripped right through everything I asked it to . . . . . drywall, studs, nails, etc. I bought this particular one because I already have several DEWALT 18 volt tools and it has worked perfectly. I also use it to prune trees in the yard and woods around my 8 acres, so it works for a variety of things and I love it.
