Summary: I bought this to replace a 15 year old model. Overall it performs better and more quietly than its predecessor. However, I occasionally have to switch back to my old model if I use any blade other than a T style. The keyless clam does a poor job of holding onto the "standard" blades.
Excerpt: Good saw for aggressive contoured cuts in 1x, 2x, and 3/4 plywood. I mated the bare tool with DeWalt's 18V 2.2 Ah Li-Ion batteries for a great combination of fast cutting, great charge retention when not in use, and good run-time between charges. The only downside is that, to my knowledge, DeWalt does not offer this saw in a kit with the 18V (XRP form-factor) Li-Ion batteries, so if you don't already have need for the 18 V Li-Ion cells, the package gets REAL pricey.
Pros: Agressive Cut, Easy To Use, Good Design, Powerful, Zips through 2x's
