Excerpt: I bought one of these saws 6 months ago having got fed up with constant problems from my two petrol saws. I use the saws mainly for cutting seasoned harwood offcuts for firewood and occassional felling of small trees.
Summary: I've had a number of petrol chainsaws over the years and this is the first cordless. The convenience of cordless is wonderful as well as a safety feature. And the quiet running is a big advantage to me too.

Conclusion: Excellent product - not only one of the cheapest on the market but its light, very sharp and plenty long enough for the average hedge. Really pleased with it. I have a hawthorn hedge and a conifer hedge and it cuts both really easily. (Posted on 11/08/2011)
Summary: I bought this equipment when it first released for sale because a petrol chainsaw was too noisy for the back garden location at my mothers house and having a mini forest to cull. Seemed fine at the time, if a little slow.
Summary: Great supplier - arrived quickly - but returned to them quicker! Built from much plastic, its just unimaginable that this thing is going to last three years. And I would expect something costing circa 300 quid to last at least 10. Also astonishingly noisy for electrically powered machine.
Summary: I was rather concerned by the mixed reviews this chainsaw had received but I thought it would at least be worth trying for myself and I very pleased I did. As with many tools, I suspect whether this is right for you will be determined by the work you need it to do.
Summary: I needed this product because cutting up large logs for firewood with a bow saw was tiring & time consuming, I also do some garden work where I am far from a power supply so a cordless model was the best choice.
