Summary: Had this saw almost 10 years and it is the go to tool for all my jamb and casing trim work when installing floors and cabinets.
I also use it when installing new windows or exterior casings to trim back shingles or clapboards to fit a larger size opening.
Summary: This saw has become very useful in several remodeling projects. You can easily do flush cuts in small spaces that you would be unable to reach with an ordinary hacksaw. It is also much more precise than a hack saw.
Summary: I've had a older version of the saw for years. As mentioned previously in other reviews, it works great for cutting in place casings and door jambs. I have a Bosch oscillating multi tool that will do this as well, but this is quicker in many situations.
I had a project to do that involved cutting off a bunch of 2x8 floor joists flush with the framing. I thought I would give this saw a try, so I did not have to bang my knuckles with a recip saw.
Summary: I have tool for years and it is indispensable when it comes to doing flooring. I use it for cutting jambs, doorstops, door casing or any other obsticle in your way that only can only be cut with a hand saw.
