Fun for pumpkin carving.

Summary: I bought this to help carve pumpkins for Halloween. Probably not what most people are buying this for but I have to carve a dozen pumpkins every year so I needed some muscle. Wow was this fun! Not too powerful but just powerful enough. It sliced through the pumpkin with ease. My sister tried it on the rose bushes and ran into some more resistance but it worked on most branches. So all depends on what you plan to use it on.
Summary: Don't waste your money. This thing doesn't have enough power or strength for even small jobs. The blade holder is made of flimsy cast iron and broke off during the second use. Glad I didn't pay more than $27 for it.
Summary: I had one of these devices before and it was handy. After a couple of years of usage, the internal battery stopped charging. Found this on long. It was delivered on time and its been working great.
Summary: Well, I finally had a chance to use this tool. On the positive side, it is light and easy to hold, that is one of the reasons I bought it. But, it is very limited in what it can do. I first used it to cut out some paneling and drywall; worked pretty well for that although the blade really vibrates. Okay so far. Then I needed it to finish some cuts in 2x4 boards. This is where this saw fails, completely. No power and the battery ran out after approximately 10" of cutting.
Summary: I guess I didn't read the reviews correctly because I bought this hand saw for cutting thin branches outside, but it is totall useless. The blade is to short to do anything useful outside! I will keep it but ABSOLUTELY not happy with this purshase.
