Summary: I was dubious about this item before I bought it as, reading the reviews people had sent in were not in favour of it! But I thought ,blow them I like the look of it, and one of the good things about it ,it carries the saw blades in th the wee pocket on the jigsaw so one is not running round as I am saying"Where the H... did I put them?" As for performance For cutting "Ply" it performed perfectly. Plus the Dial for the correct speed is good thing too!
Summary: pros: The variable speeds are good.. as is the little apartment for storing spare blades. Cons: Blade not lined up with the little arrow..so have to cut on an angle to go straight.. maybe it was just the one I was sent. Overall, not really a bad item, just not great.
Summary: I bought this because another reputable make of jigsaw I had wouldn't cut in a straight line! (and it wasn't me ... the blade didn't point forward!) that one had a quick release blade clamp too so I was hoping that this wouldn't have that problem. It's fine. I was a bit surprised to find that the auto select is really just a speed control, as I was hoping that you could control the speed with the trigger which you can't, however having a speed control on the side is...
