Audio output voltage is 650 mV RMS maximum (10 kohms). The receiver has up to 20 PDTs (Program Definition Text, artist name and song title) and has S-Seek which seeks out and alerts users when any of the 30 stored artist/song title combinations is playing somewhere on the service. It has time-based functions like an alarm, a sleep timer, and program alert, which switches the KT-SR2000 to a preprogrammed stream at a selected time. It requires a power input of DC 10V to 16V, and measures 2.69 x 4.375 x 1.125 inches.

The PDA-shaped JVC KT-SR2000 Sirius satellite radio receiver lets users listen to over 100 streams of Sirius satellite radio programming. It has 18 presets, 20-song memory, and a remote control, and automatically alerts users to favorite songs or switch to a stream at preselected time. This unit requires Sirius radio service subscription and 1 of JVC KS-K6012 or KS-K6013 (car or home docking kits) for use which are not included with the unit. The KT-SR2000 has an LCD with separate controls for brightness, contrast, and font and an ambient light sensor, which automatically adjusts the display brightness to suit viewing conditions. It has Direct Tuning, Antenna Aiming for home installation, System lock, memory clear, and stream locking/unlocking. The Sirius Satellite Radio service (subscription not included) lets users access music channels ((Pop: 13; rock: 17 (including blues and reggae); country: 6 (including folk); hip-hop: 4; R&B/urban: 5 (including gospel); electronic/dance: 6; jazz/standards: 6 (including Broadway); classical: 3; Latin & world: 5), sports channels (7), news channels (13) and talk/entertainment channels (23). Users may search by channel, by artists currently playing, or by song currently playing. Satellite radio service is available only within the lower 48 states and not available in Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories. The unit includes a remote control and batteries.
