Summary: Got this for free with purchase of a Makita miter saw a few weeks ago. I used it along side my dewalt ROS, found it performed just as well. The dust collection doesn't work as well as the dewalt and I don't care for how you must empty it.
Summary: I finally used it and I'm so impressed with every part of it's function. I purchased the type that uses a quarter of a piece of sandpaper a few months before this model and know I will never use it again.
Summary: great for what it is. ive used porter cable and dewalt sanders of the same type, this thing is the most beastly of all of them. very glad i bought it. if i had it to do again id upgrade to the variable speed model with the trigger but i still enjoy this bad girl and you can just trot on over to hd...
Summary: I purchased this as I was looking for an orbital sander for sanding the old stain off a dozen kitchen cabinets as well as some bedroom doors for a much needed new look. I wanted something that was both easy to use but also made quick work of a very laborious chore without oversanding or swirl marks.
I bought this exact same sander 20+ years ago. ...
