Good for girls!

Disey, reviews.diy.com
20 February 2014
  • Summary: " Having struggled with a full size heavy sander this came as a relief, making the job so much easier. The shaped front end is brilliant for getting into tight spaces. Comfortable grip. Downside is the dust collection box - not easy to remove as it's not possible to grasp it very tightly and the box could be bigger for less emptying.

  • Summary: " wasn't sure about this when looking at sanders as its 80 watts power so I was looking at the 160 cheaper brands but went for this and glad I did plenty powerful enough and very light, done the job well and a good price very happy "

Great value

Rabey, reviews.diy.com
11 November 2012
  • Summary: " Great product and when I got it home it was up and running in less than 2 minutes. Sanding sheets are easy to change and I will be careful when changing them after reading other reviews. Really light and very little vibration. Comes in a sturdy case. When I was putting it away I realised just how many Bosch tools I have accumulated over the years. That must say something about the quality and value for money.

good sander

martnava, reviews.diy.com
2 June 2012
  • Summary: " the actual sander seems to work great, good quality, low vibration, easy to hold and use. The power button is a bit tough to turn on and off which is a bit annoying if you want to stop the unit quickly. The dust tray was a bit tough also to open and close but i can live with that. The case the unit comes in is extremely difficult to close at times, once i just gave up trying to close it as it just would not play nice, think they should def redesign the clips as it was...

Not bad at first..

cjm66, reviews.diy.com
11 May 2012
  • Summary: " We've had this about 6 weeks but its going back for a refund. The pad which the sanding sheets stick to has come off and can not be stuck back on, so basically its broken. On the whole its worked Ok but not brilliantly. Even when using the vacuum cleaner hose shoved in the end, the dust is astonishing, and without it its almost unusable. So much dust that I couldn't see what I was sanding!

Bad points out weigh the good.

truthserum, reviews.diy.com
5 February 2012
  • Summary: " Bought this 11 months ago and it does do a reasonable job where areas are difficult to sand eg panel doors. The machine has a couple of niggles and one major problem. Niggles include the replacement sandpapers which are quite pricey. The dust collector is easy to remove but it is extremely difficult to remove the black lid to access the filter paper to thoroughly clean.
