Summary: " A very useful tool that saves a lot of mess and hassle, being an electrician I found it very handy for cutting up floor boards in tight spaces, it is also useful when the mrs gives me tough old sausage rolls in my pack up which cannot be cut with a knife, it is also very useful for cutting very accurate holes in the bottom of your apprentices tool box which he will not notice until he picks it up and a good portion of his tools fall on the floor, so in conclusion I...
Summary: " Very good tool for cutting, but not for sanding. The sanding plate (with the velcro hooks to attach the sanding sheets) melts easily and, in my experience, barely outlasts a single sanding sheet. A replacement plate costs north of £10. Judging from reviews, other delta sanders (Makita, Erdbauer, etc) seem to suffer from the same problem though. My Bosch 190 E stopped working 7 months after the purchase. I used the tool for about 40-50 hours in all.
Summary: " I had a re grouting job to do in the bathroom and advised to get my self one of these. Glad I did, although it was still hard work, several hours and I went through two blades at £23 each I am very glad I didn't attempt it by hand. It does tend to over heat on this job so could only do 20 minutes a a time with 30 minutes to cool down and recharge a bit, so slightly disappointing on that part. I wonder if the mains type would be better and not over heat so quickly.
Summary: " Had been planning on buying one of these for a while and when i saw it on special with 1/3 off i snapped it up. Had sold out when i went to store but ordered it online when i got home and it was here the next day. Only had for about 3 weeks and already wondering i how i managed without it. I have practically every tool you can think of under the sun and while this wont replace the need to have most of them its a good addition.
Summary: " I wanted a multi tool to do a specific urgent job of cutting some 2 off 4" and 2 off 3" plastic pipes that were used in air vents through a brick wall. I needed to cut the pipes inside the outer of the wall so that I could then fill them in flush to the wall. I used the 2 serrated cutters and the job took me 20 minutes instead of the 2-3 hours to drill round the circumference. The tool was on special at £30 less than anywhere else.
Summary: " I bought this purely for cutting tongue and groove floorboards. I have done this before with a circular saw and remember how noisy , dusty and difficult this was (not to mention the very thick cut from the circular blade. Believe me this is so much easier to control, with minimal dust and noise - brilliant - the narrow blade leaves a small gap hardly wider than the original gap!
Summary: " I bought the Multi tool to cut the edges of some floor boards close to the edge of the room. Previous attempts by professional plumbers with tenon saws had left some pretty ragged edges. The plunge saw fitting made light work of the job and left crisp straight edges right up to the skirting board. Brilliant!
Summary: " Bought to saw off an unbalanced door stop and to cut through laminate to an edge divider. I havent tried the latter yet, but it managed the former with ease. Cant speak of longevity of the blades, but compatibles can be picked up online.
Excerpt: Bit dubious about buying this tool, but now I am converted! gets to places other tools can't, and works a treat. changing blades is straightforward, and it's a doddle to use, Pro's Easy to use gets the job done Con's Blades can be expensive, but non bosch are cheaper
