Summary: I wanted to put a security camera above my kitchen cabnets, where I had power but no easy way to run a network cable. I refuse to use WiFi for 24/7 streaming video so this was the obvious alternative.
Didn't know what to expect, but very happy with these!

Summary: I build a media center PC which is attached to my TV, but unfortunately I had no Ethernet jack near my TV. After considering buying a wireless card, I decided to try these wall adapters out since they would provide me with greater speeds.
Summary: Powerline is a much better solution for extending your network to fixed (i.e. non-mobile) devices than is wifi. Sure, wifi is great for your phone, tablet and laptop, but not so much for your DVR, BluRay, game console or connected TV.
Summary: Just a very poorly designed product. Obvious that the engineers never looked at a standard duplex outlet in any US home. This conveniently blocks the 2nd outlet, so while it extends one, it takes up 2. Competitive products seemed to have taken this into consideration.
Summary: The item sounds amazing at first, plugs into your electrical outlet and creates a ethernet channel! Then reality hits and you realize that each additional electrical outlet along the same path lowers your mbps to your router.
Great product and alternative to poor quality wireless

Summary: Great product. I bought these because of a weak wireless signal in my office at home. Looking for an easy alternative. Easy to setup following directions from other users here on Amazon. Instructions that came with the adapters are junk.
Great throughput, just like having a cat 5 cable ...

Summary: Just got these, bought two sets. The first two (unit by modem, second devise) were total plug and play. Great throughput, just like having a cat 5 cable attached to my modem and device! Tried adding additional units but hit snag, instructions NOT helpful.
