Great product, saves money!

prokem, Ebay

  • Summary: We had two data cards - one for each laptop, costing us $30 each per month. This little unit made it so that we could share one data stick and save $30 a month. Plus the data stick stays in the router, so has less chance of being damaged being plugged into the laptop.

Good choice for certain situations

Lars P., Newegg
16 August 2011
  • Summary: I bout this because I already have a LTE 4g USB modem, but wanted connectivity for my iPad while on the road. This was before the MiFi VZW router was available. So far it's worked pretty well, my only complaints are battery life and dropped connections while using 4g LTE in San Francisco.
  • Pros: Straightforward setup Flexible, full featured
  • Cons: Battery life could be better Clunky with USB modem sticking out Drops 4g LTE connection frequently

If I'd paid retail I probably would have returned it. It gets the job done just fine, but be sure to carry a couple sets of extra batteries..
  • Pros: Easy to use, lots of options through advanced settings for those who are very network savvy, though the plug and play and folks who need to use basic settings on their networks won't be able to access advanced features. Excellent amount of features in a small package, I toss mine into my messenge...
  • Cons: The plug and play folks who need to use basic settings on their networks won't be able to access advanced features. Battery life is a completely joke, as in you might see 60 minutes on average, 90 with one client, and as low as 30 minutes if you share out the connection to 3-5 people. Doesn't fee...
