Summary: So far working great, only using 3 ports (2 PoE) but will be using more eventually. Powering APs with these not cameras and have had no problems so far. One of few PoE+ units I could find-eventually will be powering a PoE+ exterior AP with heater.
Summary: Received it in late Feb. 2015. As another reviewer mentioned fan is noisy. And as yet other reviewers mentioned that ports were loose/faulty, so I was afraid to order from warehouse deals. I ordered a new one and tested all of the ports. All are good. Including PoE. I had only one camera to install/test and I put that on each port for a day or two. No problems were faced. No other testes performed about total power load or speed.
Summary: I bought 2 of these for a new phone system in April. The fans were loud and they have both totally failed already. The switch works well so I replaced the fans myself with quieter ball bearing fans. Better components=better product.
Summary: I bought this switch in June 2014. It's now February 2015 (8 months have passed) and the switch is still chugging along very nicely. I use this switch primarily to run 4 pieces of 24v POE+ (POE Plus) IP cameras. I use a cheaper Netgear regular POE switch to power 9 pieces of 12v regular POE cameras.
Summary: this is NOT a PoE switch. It has PoE lights for each port, but it powers no PoE device that I am aware of. The first unit that was shipped sounded like a bunch of rocks lose in it. sent it back and now I find no PoE. JUNK. stay away. I may be stuck with it because I threw the box out. Going to try returning it anyway.
