Summary: Up until this morning this little gigabit switched did just what it said in it's name. It sat on my desk and acted as a means to connect a few devices to a gigabit network (which happened to be via a second, managed, switch). Throughput was as expected and I never had to think about touching it. Until this morning when my PC refused to obtain an IP address and I noticed that none of the lights on the hub were on.
Summary: i bought this expecting a inferior build quality but i was surprised to find that this cheaper switch performed as good as or better than some products costing 4-5 times the amount , a excellent buy for home or office use
Summary: Works as promised. Plug your router into one port (1 is the sensible option) and you're left with four more ports to share. I've used mine with a PC running Windows and Ubuntu, a network printer and a Raspberry Pi.
