Summary: Great Switch for Small office, works perfectly. It is NOT a GIGABIT switch, is 10/100. I just needed a 16 port Switch so I can plug in test machines, it works great never needs resetting. I have had it running non-stop for 6 months so far. I picked this one because the power is in the back and Plugs are in front. IT is a pain to have power in front, people usually accidentally unplug the power. It is also small. It is about 8 inches wide 2inches tall.
Works well with PoE being drawn on all 8 PoE ports.

Summary: Works just fine, no problems using all the PoE ports simultaneously to power Polycom IP 335 version phones. The only drawback is it is LOUD. So, don't expect to have this under your desk, it will be too noisy.
Summary: I purchased this switch for one of my customers and to reside in a very small network closet. The switch works very well, and the ports power down to conserve power when not in use. When I registered the product, I expected to see a warranty much greater than 2 years. Under the EIA/TIA specifications, I have to provide my customer with a 25 year warranty on the structured wiring.
Great switch and I've purchased a lot of them now.

Summary: I have purchased 30 or so of this switch at this point and really like it. There is nothing really special, it is a switch and it works. Perfect for my use! I am using this switch for IP CCTV cameras, usually for 6-8 cameras and it is working very well for this. It works much better than the Cisco switches that I used to purchase, in fact I have to go amend my review on those as they have started failing quite often for me, where as so far my ZyXel switches are working...
Summary: This is a nice switch. It is a good value for the money. However, I wouldn't put this switch anywhere you want low noise levels. The twin fans are loud and sound like when a fan is going out in your computer.
