Excerpt: The connection dropped frequently and needed a reboot from time to time. I took it back to the Staple's store and they did not offer a refund nor a store credit for the amount I paid. They did not even carry it in the store. No exchange was allowed. I will not shop at these stores in the future.
Excerpt: often times I get no wireless connection from router. when I try to log in to the router it does not respond so I have to hard reset it or turn off then turn it on. VERY VERY unreliable product.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fast Connection Speed, Fast Dual Band
Excerpt: I replaced an older single antenna N router. Since then, the wireless connection has been very sporadic. The data stream disconnects about daily. Western digital must know about this problem and I hope they are working on some sort of firmware fix/upgrade.

The advertised price for this product was a great deal if compared to the specs "on paper". In practice it is much different. I'm strongly considering swapping my previous router.
Excerpt: Even latest firmware version 1.0.7 or whatever did not solve all these issues which seems existing problems since the product released in 2012. I feel so frustrated after purchasing this product without spending a reasonable time for finding some reviews on this product. Looks like many users (almost 80%)faced a lot of issues. DO NOT BUT THIS PRODUCT !! Save money & buy something else which really makes sense....
Pros: Easy To Set Up
Cons: Becomes Very Hot Everyday, Shuts Down Automatically, Slow Connection Speed, Unreliable connection
Summary: The router suffers from frequent crashing. Reading the reviews shows that it is a great product, and from that point it is all true; I love this thing. However, reading WD forums will show that these routers suffer from crashing and bugs that will bring down the network all the time. Buyer Beware. Would I buy this again, easy answer is NO... its not worth the time or risk.
Summary: Looks good and sounds exciting right? It would have been if not for the constant overheating issues . . . I think? I bought the 1tb flavor of this router about a week ago and it has been shutting itself down every 1 to 2 days. At first I thought there must be a setting I have wrong but I've scoured the settings page rigorously and can't find anything wrong. I updated to the most current firmware during the setup process as it wouldn't work without it.
