Great multifunctionality, but a mess of cables

  • Summary: My favorite IDE to USB 2.0 device yet is the Apollo EG-U2N EASYGO USB2.0 to IDE Adapter due to its simplicity. It had a Power light and an HDD activity light, a power switch, a 3.5 ft.
  • Pros: Allows for the connection of 2.5" (notebook/laptop) and 3.5" (desktop) hard drives using either the PATA/EIDE interface, or the SATA interface. Self powers the hard drive using either the legacy 4 pin molex connector or the new SATA power connection.-
  • Cons: Though you get all these great options, it is a mess to manage all the cables and "accessories" that come with it.
