Summary: Does what it needs to without any issues. We have this serving a dual role: Powering two cameras in an outdoor NEMA enclosure, and acting as a way to get cut an otherwise 500 ft run in half. Nothing fancy, but it didn't need to be.

Summary: First one I received failed after 4 weeks: does not output Poe voltage tho it works fine as a non-Poe switch. After interminable hours with trendnet's offshore call center, I got an RMA. Had to return at my expense. After 2 weeks, I received a replacement.

Summary: I have never had any problems with any TP-Link. They do extremely well on refunds beyond the warranty period. Even though Customer Support may be overseas, they did help me on a very expensive POE switch. About this switch, no problems. Plug in and play. No difficult setup at all.

Summary: Worked as described. I have 4 IP cameras hooked up to it,1080 HD, no problem. Light on front tell me whats working. Only used the lights on the front when setting up the system. Now I don't even look at them.
Summary: These are probably the best switch with PoE for your buck. I haven't had one fail yet, though you cannot power more than two or three [smaller draw] PoE devices off of them, I generally only have one unit that needs it in the switch, that makes these idea compared to Cisco or Netgear's.
Summary: This is a 24-port managed PoE switch. It does have VLAN support, though it's pretty poorly implemented. There are some compatibility issues with regard to "native" VLAN support, particularly with regard to VLAN 1 and trunk ports. It's pretty loud, and seems to run hot.
Summary: We've installed over 100 of these units and all have worked flawlessly. With that said we have had issues with users plugging in the wrong power adapter. When a 12 volt adapter from another device is inadvertently used the switch acts like a non-PoE switch.
Summary: Aside from a quality issue on one (that still works fine just the LEDs on the POE side are a bit flakey) all 3 of these switches have performed flawlessly. I am very happy with these buggers and recommend them.
Summary: I have been using this POE for about 18 months for my Logitech Alert Security Camera's. POE consumption was rated 30W so, I did my math, 4 POE X 7W, I should be good. When it was new: It was able to manage 3 camera's without problems. The 4th one is on and off (getting maxed out).
