Summary: I purchased two of these switches in January 2012 and a year later i'm writing to say that I have not had to reboot them since installation that same month. They are installed in a hotel providing POE for wireless access points and switches and work exceptionally well.
Unreliable garbage - constant "faults" on all POE ports

Summary: I bought one of these to provide power to five geovision cameras. It worked fine for about a month. Then, it would work for 20-30 minutes before switching each POE port to "Fault". Now, it instantly goes to "fault". This was a waste of money and a piece of garbage.
Summary: I have several Netgear POE gigabit switches in my network. They function perfectly and have no fan. I decided to add the ability to SPAN (mirror) traffic to help with occasional network issues and purchased this Trendnet unit. I do like the extra features, but the fan on this thing is abysmal.
Summary: I am using this to power 4 PoE cameras and it worked out great. I am really happy with this product. + 1) Plenty of Power (the most important factor in my decision) 2) Lights and LCD screen on front are very helpful 3) Many advanced features on the switches built in web server 4) Good size 5) Metal...
Summary: This is an excellent managed switch. It is easy to setup and I have tested it with 3 cameras (at the same time), no power problems. I just wish it did not have a fan for long term reliability.
Pros: Stable. Easy to setup. Excellent Performance.
Summary: I am very happy in general. I bought this PoE switch to connect my IP Phones in VOIP IP PBX network. Technical support has been great and for the price I could't have made a better choice. I recommend it at least for a soho VOIP PBX deployment.
