Horrible router--constantly drops connection, just like others' experience

Summary: This router seemed to be working for the first 35 days--just enough time for the return period to pass. Then...constantly dropping wi-fi. Every. Single. Day. After six calls to Trendnet in which we have updated the firmware, checked to make sure the wired connection was working (it was, just not wireless), changing settings and frequency, plugging computer directly into modem, lather, rinse, repeat; still not working.
Summary: We purchased this router on May 30, 2014. It failed on December 11, 2014. Not only could we not get to the internet, we also could not connect to the network. After installing a firmware upgrade, resetting, and reconfiguring the router, we could connect to the network internally but still could not get to the internet. We've never before had a wireless router fail this quickly.
Drops internet constantly despite all updates - customer service sub par

Summary: Bought in April 2014 brand new. In November it began dropping internet constantly. After multiple conversations with tech support by email, (since I can't understand the accents of phone support staff) I have updated firmware, checked internet provider, attempted different channels, defaulted and re-installed to no avail. Trendnet's solution is to send me a refurbed router after I pay for shipping of the faulty one.

Summary: Absolutely terrible, worked for a couple of months and now I have nothing but difficulties staying connected. Updated firmware, now the performance is worse. Drops connections all the time....really not wanting to go through TRENDnet's customer service for a return and replacement. What a pain in backside!!!
Summary: The router worked for 1 day. The next day when we got home, we were kicked off. So I did the 'ol unplug/plug in bit and still didn't work. Disconnected my modem, power supplies, blah blah blah. Nothing. To top it all off...COULD NOT UNDERSTAND TECH SUPPORT AND THEY WERE INCOMPETENT. Why? They told me to get a paperclip and reset the router!!!! YOU KNOW YOU'RE IN TROUBLE WHEN TECH SUPPORT ASKS YOU TO USE A PAPERCLIP. Return. Right. Now.

Summary: Doesn't work. At first it worked great but after a couple of days connections to our Android phones dropped. My wife works from home and she couldn't log onto company servers. It came down to an invalid DNS address. Even when we set it to static, she couldn't log on nor did our phones connect. I will be returning this product. I don't have hours to devote to troubleshooting and re configuring a router.
Summary: The router worked for a couple days before having issues with the wireless connections. Devices wouldn't stay connected. I had a TEW-800mb media bridge 15 feet away and the 5ghz connection would constantly drop, my laptop wireless had to be reset often to reconnect to the router and even the 2.4ghz TEW-680 media bridge wouldn't stay connected. I needed the 5ghz wireless as the 2.4 ghz coverage in the area is extremely congested.
Summary: I have owned this router for about a year now and I am kicking myself for not going with a more established brand. Let me tell my story. I bought this router for its AC mode so I could get a strong connection upstairs while the modem was located downstairs in the living room. For the first day or so it worked great. I saw my download speed jump from about 500kb to 25mb/s. The next week started the first set of problems. The AC signal would cut on and off constantly.
Summary: Quality There are reasons why this and many trendnet routing products are on sale as lightning and gold box deals on amazon. Its because they are TERRIBLE, and are made cheapl. You look at the size of this router and think oh its so big it must have beefy hardware, no its a big box of air mainly to cool the poor little thing that will and does over heat under heavy load.
Excerpt: I've tried the TrendNet router with two different new cable modems on Bright House. Even with all new wiring, the wifi signal has gone out again and again. Since it was still under warranty, I sent it back to TrendNet, which chose to replace it with a new one. But the new one had the same problem out of the box. I've worked with a TrendNet technician for 2 months, but to date, the problem continues.
