Summary: I thought my old router was starting to go out, so when I saw this router on deal of the day, I ordered it. It came in good time, but when I tried to set it up, setting the password was very difficult. I managed to get through it and got everything set up. The range on this router was not as good as my old router. So, after my family pleaded with me to change back so they could pick up wireless all over the house, I relented and switched back.
Summary: You still wouldn't want trendnet running your network, trust me, its ok for a simple N router that's it. Don't plan on making your printer wifi ready. But for grandma who loves watching crackle while messaging her girlfriend in Tokyo its fine. Lol.
Summary: I got this so I could use my HP printer, but for some reason I can't get the printer to work with it. I also have been able to get the tv hooked to it, but I will keep trying. until I get the printer working I can't give A good performance report. Sorry I got fast delevery.
Summary: It is just about OK. I have the latest firmware version as of June 2014, Firmware Version: 1.02b03. Occasionally it will silently "block" all the wi-fi connections from any access to the LAN and the internet - so even though you are connected OK you cannot ping or connect to anything else inside or outside the LAN except the router itself. That requires a reboot but if you do not know about it, there is no indication that the router is blocking you.
