  • Summary: Wired connections are fine . WIFI wireless connections are much slower than the TRENDNET N150 router this was meant to replace . Ended up reconnecting the older TERNDNET N-150 router to get consistent wireless response .

Weak Signal Strength

Park Ranger "Jellystone", Amazon
9 September 2014
  • Summary: I don't live in a very big house and my wireless signal was super weak with this router. You have to be in the same room with this thing for it work worth a crap. If you lived in a very small apartment this might be ok with you.

Brian D., Newegg
9 January 2014
  • Summary: I bought this to replace an old linksys wireless G router, it worked great for the first couple weeks, but now it needs resetting every day. It will drop internet on my wireless devices as well as my PC that's wired to it once a day or so.
  • Pros: Cheap Decent range
  • Cons: Needs resetting daily

Drops the connection, need a reboot every day

Rene Gonzalez "regzgz", Amazon
17 December 2013
  • Summary: I decided to get this TEW-731BR to upgrade from the 150Mbs TEW-711BR, the router was super-easy to configure since I'm familiar with TRENDnet. The router worked fine the first day, after a few hours I noticed a slow down in my internet and rebooted the router, all was fine again.

Went back to my old router.

Kay, TigerDirect.com
4 September 2013
  • Summary: I thought my old router was starting to go out, so when I saw this router on deal of the day, I ordered it. It came in good time, but when I tried to set it up, setting the password was very difficult. I managed to get through it and got everything set up.
