Pros: Wireless works great and fast. No dropped signals on 3 laptops a Wii and an xbox360. When the hard lined PC connection decides to work then it works rather well.
Cons: Avid gamer here. Speed is important for me. Replaced my Link SYS WRT54GS wireless router with this one. All of my speed test dot net scores have dropped. Not so much I would switch back. The big thing that has me hunting for another new router that does wireless N is the fact that every freaking time I turn on my computer I have connection issues. I have re-done nic adapter, network settings, everything several times and can not figure out why this happens. It works a...
Pros: Had a TEW-639GR before this that cost about 1/3 the price and had some weird wireless issues so I paid more $$$ for this one which resolved my wireless issues but thats about it.
Cons: My bandwidth via speedtests or regular dls are about 1/3rd (how ironic!) of my max bandwidth and also oddly my pings go crazy. I'm talking from my pc to the router (WIRED!) I'm seeing <1ms and then the second I start a now slow download I see 80-200 to the ROUTER! To a website in the same city? From 40ms to about 400+... Lemon? The man upstairs hates me?
Summary: I buyed this router, not from Amazon, but from other store. I make various tests with Atheros 3x3 mimo, intel 3x3 mimo. So the problem is the speed 450mbps it's a fake. The maximum speed is <90-100mbps on wireless 5Ghz. You can try at home. If this it's not true contact me. To be sure that wireless is problem, i used lan cable to test speed. In lan cable speed it's ok 70MB/s (not mbps), in wireless environment wireless speed it's fake. This router has seriously problems.
