Summary: In regards to N 450 access point - Title/description of the product says that this is a PoE access point, however after purchasing and receiving, I noticed that there was no mention of PoE on the box. I called Trendnet to confirm this and they were able to tell me that this product is not PoE capable. It is my conclusion that the seller does not have a proper title for this product as it clearly lists PoE - pretty much the only reason I picked this product specifically.
Summary: The title for the TEW-690AP is wrong!. I bought this device specifically for the PoE (Power over Ethernet) option. This IS NOT PoE! I cannot speak to how well this works or doesn't work because I am sending it back. Before discovering this was not want I thought it was, I pulled it out of the box and set it up - and that process was very simple. If you want to know whether this is a good access point or not read the other reviews If your looking for PoE look elsewhere...

Summary: I have purchased 3 of these. I am very happy with the product but not the instructions on how to set up as an access point or repeater...I had to call customer service, which they were able to walk me through the set-up process. Poor instructions are why i did not give it all 5 stars.
Summary: I purchased 5 of the access points for coverage in a recreation center. 4 of the access points are working properly. 1 access point has lost all lights except for the power light multiple times. We are able to reboot the access point that allow it to come back and have connectivity but plan to contact support to see about getting a replacement.
Summary: I read the reviews and I went for it. The setup was easy and our connection problems were eliminated. We have an older Cisco VPN router that objects to connecting with portable PCs using Atheros wireless adaptors on wireless N. An easy solution was to add this WAP as a performance boost to the system and attach the difficult devices with it. Works well. I recommend this TEW-690AP from Trendnet.
Summary: I tried working with this AP for a couple months and I'm totally done with it. Works as a brick or prop instead. I was disappointed because I've had pretty good experience with the wireless cameras Trendnet makes but this is not in the same class. I tried multiple strengths of security and custom channels. In the end the performance was flaky and I would find my data connections dropping constantly.
Summary: TrendNet makes great products. I purchased this to replace an old TrendNet wireless g access point, after trying another brand and being thoroughly disappointed. This device did exactly what it should have. I hooked it up, ran the setup software, and the configuration was a breeze and it's FAST!
