Quick & Easy

PaRAJ, Amazon
13 November 2013
  • Summary: Bought for son's apartment to replace an old G Linksys router. Placement was a challenge as only usable location was bottom shelf of a book case. I need to experiment remotely trying to get better coverage in apartment. Product was very easy to set-up and configure.

Decent Little Router

Shawn Hoerner, Amazon
27 October 2013
  • Summary: Works well once you configure it properly. For starters, the radio broadcasts in Wireless B/G by default. Once I figured this out, I changed the broadcast to N entirely as I no longer need G.

New old stock...

winger2000se, Amazon
2 October 2013
  • Summary: The unit is a good router, however, the unit had to have the software updated to get it to function...... although new, the unit was over a year and a half old.... (I spent over an hour talking to a Trendnet technician in India before the unit functioned properly!)

So Far So Good

Timby, Amazon
26 May 2013
  • Summary: I wasn't sure if I was going to like an N router. I already own some of this manufacturers hardware. While researching the varied routers out there I found that most are misleading & don't really inform the public what they're really getting in through-put to the network.

GREAT customer Service

BMUR, Amazon
4 February 2013
  • Summary: My Belkin router stopped working so I had to replace it - I just happened to find this router on a daily deal for only $35 so I picked one up. It seems to fuction better than my old Belkin by having a higher transfer rate.

Nice and fast

JimInRaleigh, Amazon
22 January 2012
  • Summary: I wanted stronger wireless coverage and a gigabit router for my network- this does it. I have not had any significant issues at all. Just the very rare mysterious 'not connecting', which a quick reset solves (cable company??).

Good router, but range wasn't what I expected

Daron Levy, Amazon
12 September 2011
  • Summary: I bought this router to replace a Netgear wireless G router. I needed something faster to stream movie files from my desktop to my PS3. Higher quality movie files played a bit choppy on the Netgear's slower G network.

dquin656, Amazon
25 October 2010
  • Summary: When I followed the directions for installing this router, it wouldn't work with my COMCAST connection. Then I read C. Kester's review, here on Amazon and followed his directions. Within a few minutes, I was up and running and now I'm writing this review. If you can't see C.

Reliable router

Tom Servo, Amazon
18 October 2010
  • Summary: I have 3 of these TEW-639GR routers and they are reliable (I have never needed to manually power-reset these). This is a single band router (2.4GHz only). Note that there have been 3 different versions of this router over time, the latest version that I purchased is v3.

Works like it should

Kindle Customer, Amazon
6 April 2010
  • Summary: Works like it should. I've got two desktops hooked up, plus the laser printer and a laptop wirelessly. Everything is working flawlessly. You just need to follow the directions for setup, and keep in mind that when you first set up the router, you need to turn everything off, then plug in the...
