Summary: This ones a stinker folks! I own an IT business and I've used many routers over the years. I actually read some poor reviews on this one, but decided to give it a try anyway. It was a big mistake. Router was glitchy from the start, constantly had to reboot it, then it just crapped out completely. Doesn't work at all anymore. If you're looking for an inexpensive router, I've had luck with TP-Link and even Zonet.
"The worst piece of networking equipment I ever used."
17 August 2011
Pros: Easy setup, many possibilities.
Cons: I have owned and used a lot of networking equipment, and for me this is the worst one ever. It seemed to work fine at first, but the moment I started using Skype with video, withing 20 seconds it would completely kill the internet speed. Even QoS wouldn't
Summary: I tested it in the same room with the receiving computer in a basement with very little radio interference. Under the firmware it came with, would connect in n, and would stay connected as long as traffic was intermittent. When transfering files, would consistently disconnect in about 60 seconds.
Pros: Works well in b/g mode
Cons: Does not work adequately in b/g/n or n only mode.
Summary: In a day I have to nearly restart my router around 10 - 20 times to get enough network the signal keep going up and down and I barely get the 2 MBPS speed although I had 30 MBPS plan. Please think and do more research before buy this router my overall experience with this router product was bad.
