Summary: I would probably buy this switch again. I've had a 5-port version for a while longer, and it's still chugging along just fine.
Pros: It just worked. At gigabit speeds. No complaints while it worked.
Cons: This $20 switch lasted two and a half years in a dusty environment. One evening it just stopped working--no drama, no magic smoke escaping, just "cable not connected" messages on all my Ethernet devices. Chugging away for over a year with no intervention needed

Summary: I've been very impressed with this little workhorse. Since I've set it up a year ago I haven't had to do anything to it. It just has worked that long. That's the best compliment I can pay it. It doesn't get overly hot either.
Summary: I found out when I went to the Trendnet website that this particular model is obsolete. However, it meets my needs as we wanted to hard wire our PS4 and computers. It has definitely improved our gaming experience having done so. This is very plug and play.
Summary: So far works exactly as expected. This is my first TRENDnet product and I am very satisfied so far. Have not had any failures or had to reboot for any reason over the 30 days that I have had this. Will update if I do experience any issues.
Summary: I bought one of these a while back when I ran out of ports on my router and wanted to swap a few things on my network from wireless connections to wired. It was extremely easy to set up. Just plug it in, pop in a few ethernet cables, and everything was going.
Summary: The S80g (metal case) that I bought before this one continues to work well.
Cons: It quit working as a primary switch (direct to the router) after 6 months. I can still get it to work (sometimes) when cascaded off the primary switch. I don't understand the behavior, but it's wrong. I put my old 10/100 switch back in and it's plugging away just fine.
