Summary: I bought this 9 months ago. It locks up every now and then and I have to cycle the power to get it to work. Since I have two HDHR3-CC tuners attached to it, I lose recordings when it locks up so I replaced it with a D-link. Unless you don't mind recycling the power every few months, I would not recommend this.
Summary: I have had this switch for 4 months and have not had 1 issue with it. Totally plug and play, works like a champ, no errors, etc. I would recommend it. It has been a great addition to my home network.
Summary: Added Ethernet physical connections for my home network for PCs, printers Network-attached storage, and takes some of the power load off the modem. No lad or overhead so from a Ethernet perspective it invisible.
Summary: Please do not bother with this switch. It failed me in just a few days. I've used TRENDnet products in the past and they seem to be average at best. Gigabit switches are getting cheaper so do your homework.
Summary: I use this in my home entertainment center, where everything seems to have internet connectivity these days. I plugged everything in once, and it's been running fine for four months without a reset.
Summary: I bought one of these a while back when I ran out of ports on my router and wanted to swap a few things on my network from wireless connections to wired. It was extremely easy to set up. Just plug it in, pop in a few ethernet cables, and everything was going. It's been running for months now and it's been so trouble-free that I sometimes forget that I even have it.
Summary: This switch offers excellent price, function, and quality. I love this company and I love their products. I have several of these to manage my in home network with rich media throughout the home.
