Summary: This unit is attached to the side of a cabinet out of the way and has performed perfectly with no issues for almost 3 years. I have a couple computers, majicjack, 2OBI100's and a network printer hanging off this and also feed another one at another location. Just plug everything in and away you go. No setup just plug and play.
Summary: Total silence and total cold. Don't be surprise on how small this thing is. I'm use to 5 port switch that're double the size of this. I ran a cat5 to my living room where I have multiple devices and I use this to give all of them wire access. I'm sick of wireless cutting in and out. Even though I'm getting a new wireless router soon I would still prefer hardwire. So far it haven't run into any issue. Plug and play and it's pretty reliable.
Summary: I got this to be able to connect three printers and a laser cutter to our office network, and I'm quite happy with it. It is energy efficient, and wall-mountable, and I never have to think about it. It just works. Just remember that one of the ports will be taken up by the upstream link, so the four items I've listed actually take 5 ports. The status lights are handy for quick debugging, too.
