Summary: I added this device to my network after switching from DSL to Cable internet and I could not be happier. 4 computers, 4 laptops, 2 Xbox, 1 PS4 inside the house. a second device in the garage connecting 9 wired camera and 2 internet TVs. Yes my family is a power hog when it comes to electronics and internet usage and this device works great for us!
Summary: THis was super easy to use.. literally plug and play. I was concerned that is would not be fast enough but i have my $3000.00 alienware monster plugged into it when i ran out of spots on my router and i have seen NO dip in FPS of speed. So great job trendnet this is one awesome switch.
Summary: I purchased this for my home network. I run 4 computers, an Xbox, 2 Blu ray players and 4 AT&T Uverse television boxes. I have had zero issues since I installed this box. My DSL runs over 10meg and I have no trouble streaming video or playing games online.
Summary: This switch is solidly built in a sturdy steel case. I attached the rack-mount hardware with the slots down so I could fasten it to a floor joist in my basement. It's working like a champ. Now everything is on a single switch (instead of four smaller switches) and the huge mess of spaghetti wiring I had has been discarded. This was money well spent.
Summary: I needed to replace my 17-month old D-Link 24-port switch and opted for this TrendNet model based on price and customer ratings. I must say that this is a great switch for the money. I cannot comment on it's "green" viability but it's nice to know that it will use less energy as I leave it running 24/7 (like any network switch). The lights are easy to read and the switch is very responsive.
