Plug and play

ski_doopid, Amazon
11 December 2014
  • Summary: Works great. Truly plug and play as stated on box. Plug 1 Ethernet cable into it from router then hook up any other Ethernet lines to it, add power and voilà, a local Ethernet. The only negative is that the power adapter does not seem to fit snugly into any of my outlets.

Quick failure

Amazon Customer "lostinstowe", Amazon
18 November 2014
  • Summary: I've always liked Trendnet products and have a number of their switches deployed, but this one failed in just 17 days. Probably just a bad circuit board but I should be able to trust an Ethernet switch to work unattended for years.
