Pros: First setup work very well. but unfortunately cd did not work. WPS Failed ,reset failed,Explorer failed to reboot device, all browsers failed to save data. Worst experience.
Cons: nothing good about this router. Note: its only good for first configure not more then one time. it failed to match password, ssid,on page SSID diff but in windows, Linux ,watch out if happen to you need to use for tech reason.
Cons: Read the other bad reviews, I am right there with them. I tried to upgrade from an ancient WRT 54g and I'm going to go back to it. I lose signal all the time, and the range is worse in general. The TP-Link CS responses say to download drivers for WR841ND, not WR841N which has it's own drivers so ...
Pros: Easy to set up. Very nice speeds for 15 minutes out of the day. Very nice paperweight.
Cons: Worst signal drop I've ever experienced. Slowest download speeds I've ever seen (I even took screenshots in case I ever need to suddenly burst into tears). Less reliable than using my shoe as a router.
Summary: I really really really really really REALLY hate this product. Constantly drops connection or the connection is so slow, I have to restart the router. Even restarting does not help. Of all routers....this has to be the worst even after looking up updates and trouble shooting.
Summary: Not to specs I own two routers, this one being reviewed AND the TP-LINK TL-WDR3500 Dual Band Wireless N600 Router, 2.4GHz 300Mbps+5GHz 300Mbps http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?
Pros: None (See 'Other Thoughts')
Cons: Slow performance both wired and wireless. Tested in two different environments. Cannot handle multiple streams coming from 2-3 devices let alone 5-6. Bad signal in WiFi rich environment(20+) separate signals detected.
Cons: Login page kept losing track of the password, had to keep power cycling the modem to get access then when I finally got it set up as a bridge it didn't work. Had to give it 1 egg so I could leave a review.
Summary: My last router was an Netgear WNR 2000 and was plug and play, idiot proof connectivity. I work in a data networking environment and this router is more hassle than anything I deal with on the job. AVOID THIS UNIT.
Pros: Cheap. Newegg shipping is always awesome.
Cons: . Sometimes it won't work on one PC but does on others. I can ping Google but can't get a browser to go there. I have 3 machines, (2 PCs and a PS3) that connect great all the time. I have 3 other PCs that have constant issues getting or staying connected. All simultaneously. All devices worked pe...
Summary: It seemed like a good unit at the time. I wish I never bought it.
Pros: The computer connected will work fine.
Cons: Not working now after a few weeks. It worked great for about 2 weeks at the most. Now nothing will connect other than my direct computer through an actual cord. My phone is okay at times but my wifes computer and our dvd's will not work. Tried everything. Don't buy
