Amazon Customer, Amazon
  • Summary: I purchased this to use as a client that can connect to my existing wifi network and give me a wired port to plug my printer into. This was very easy to do using the quick setup and I was initially very pleased.

Kills my network

The Captain, Amazon
26 September 2015
  • Summary: It won't work. I called customer support, and they tried to be helpful but no dice. I give the rep props for patience, but I just don't have any more time to trouble shoot this thing.

Mini wireless, mini power

Ham radio, B&H Photo
5 July 2015
  • Excerpt: Must admit that I was swayed by a rave reviews by users. But, this little router is not much of a performer. Wireless signal is weak, unless you want WiFi limited to the size of a small motel room. Setup is time-consuming and requires a specific web domain.

Mini wireless router with mini power

News Strategies, B&H Photo
28 June 2015
  • Excerpt: It is possible I received a defective unit. I installed the TP-Link in bridge mode to extend my home WiFi which delivers download speeds up to 60 MPS. The WR700N, however, barely managed 4 MPS download with an upload speed of less than one MPS. That's wholly unsatisfactory.

get an Airport Express instead....seriously.

Mr. John Egan "andragogue", Amazon
31 December 2014
  • Summary: I've used Apple Airport Express devices as my portable router for years. The price point on this, along with the reviews, made me think "worth a gamble on $25". I'm glad I didn't pay any more.

aaron, Amazon
11 October 2013
  • Summary: If you are looking for an wirelles acces point, this is not the item. The conection will drop several times a day, you will need to plug it and unplug it many times a day until you get tired of standing from your work chair. The speed will decrease a lot, like a 80%.

The signal level that is receiving the router is OK (about 3 bars), but i have to reset several times because stop of working. The blue led is on all the time. Sometimes work, sometimes not.
